ABOUT PROSTHETIC PAL

A clearer path
to the support
you need.

One place for services, charities and connections. Built from experience in prosthetics and orthotics.

WHY IT STARTED

I saw a gap.
I wanted to help close it.

A note from the founder

As a manager of a prosthetics and orthotics service, I noticed how difficult it could be to find local services, charities and practical support in one place.

The information was out there, but it was spread across different websites. Finding a nearby service or a charity offering the right support often meant searching in several places.

I started Prosthetic Pal to bring those connections together. My aim is to make it easier for people using prosthetic and orthotic services, their families, carers and professionals to find useful information and take their next step with more confidence.

What began as a gap I noticed through my work has become a simple purpose: make support easier to find.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Support starts with a useful connection.

Closer to home

Find local prosthetic and orthotic services, with official details and links to help you explore your options.

Support beyond appointments

Discover charities, community organisations and practical help for people and families.

Clearer information

Bring services, support, care information and career opportunities into an accessible place that is easy to use.

An independent starting point

Prosthetic Pal is an independent directory. The organisations listed provide their own services and set their own eligibility and referral requirements. Please confirm details directly with them.

We are continuing to develop the directory. It is not an exhaustive register, and the information here does not replace advice from your clinical team.
